Construction Materials Sales Representative
As a Sales Representative for Byler Materials Group, you would serve as the contact person between our company and our customers. As that point of contact you’d be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and establishing new ones. This is through interacting face to face, over the phone and/or via email all to ensure that our customers receive the necessary quotes and proposals in a timely manner and to ensure that any material purchased meets the highest standards that our customers expect from Byler Materials Group.
Byler Materials Group is a trusted producer and supplier of construction materials in central PA by focusing on doing all the little things right. We are driven by a commitment to our customers, employees, and community to provide an exceptional experience from the initial quote to the last delivery. Today, we operate 6 ready mixed concrete plants (3 stationary and 2 portable), 2 sand pits, a limestone quarry, an asphalt plant and a fleet of nearly 75 units.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare new quotes in a timely manner that align with company sales targets.
- Guide the process of new projects, ensuring the timely start and progression of each.
- Address any questions/concerns that arise and follow through on each to ensure an amicable resolution is reached when necessary.
- Manage a daily schedule that includes office/site visits to ensure customer satisfaction on service, monitor progress of jobs, and verify materials received meet the customer’s expectations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Three years of construction related experience preferred in stone, asphalt and concrete.
- Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
- Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.
- Valid PA Driver’s License.

- Must have a basic understanding of the relevant industries.
- Exceptional organizational skills required and must be proficient with technology.
- Must have a customer focus.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers.
- Must be self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
